Here, he completed higher training in academic general practice and was then appointed lecturer in primary care in 2004 and senior lecturer in general practice in June 2010. | |||
Research Interests |
|||
| Liam’s primary research interests are in multimorbidity with a focus on diabetes and on bringing technological solutions to healthcare through connected health. Other research interests include chronic kidney disease, hypertension and adherence to medication. He believes passionately in primary care as the foundation of every high quality health service and in the delivery of this goal through a strong evidence base emanating from primary care itself. This can only be achieved by building capacity in primary care research and education and hence he is founding clinical director of the Western General Practice Research and Education Network ( WestREN) | |||
