Project summary:
The project focuses on strengthening the operational capacity of decision-makers in Atlantic regions, with the aim of preventing coastal risks and in particular those linked to climate change. This strengthening of capacities is possible by making practical use of shared scientific and technical information, translated, interpreted and made available to managers of coastal zones, with a view to improving the relevance of decisions concerning (i) coastal management and planning (in terms of prevention) (ii) the management of potential crises in the event that coastal systems are affected




Expected results
improved access for coastal decision-makers and managers a network of specialised, targeted skills and expertise linked to the prevention and management of coastal risk qualitative (”labelled”) scientific information, translated and interpreted via adapted manuals and online publications a database of best practices regarding risk prevention / management
