Equipment

The School of Geography and Archaeology has state of the art Research and Teaching Laboratory facilities. Below is a comprehensive list of all laboratory and field equipment available for loan within the School, please contact the relevant person for booking or further information.

Discipline of Geography: equipment available to borrow by staff, graduate students, and undergraduates (on recommendation of supervisors)

The equipment listed below may be booked through Aaron Potito, Room 118 in Geography, (Tel 091-493936, ext: 3936 / aaron.potitonuigalway.ie) unless otherwise indicated below. Please list the equipment you require and your preferred collection and return dates, along with your name, discipline, home address, contact phone number(s) and email address. A refundable deposit of €50 may be required in certain instances.

The equipment listed below may be booked through Joe Fenwick, Archaeological Field Officer, Room Arc206, Discipline of Archaeology (Telephone 091-493100 / ext: 3100 / joe.fenwicknuigalway.ie). Electronic field equipment will only be loaned to those students who have attended and successfully completed the relevant introductory courses (SPA 450 Introduction to digital surveying – Total Station / SPA451 Introduction to Digital Surveying - Trimble GPS / Introduction to Archaeological Geophysics). Please list the equipment you require and your preferred collection and return dates, along with your name, discipline, home address, contact phone number(s) and email address.
