Berit Carmesin

Berit graduated from the University of Cologne with an M.A. in Scandinavian Studies, German and History. She also studied at the University of Oslo and the University of Bonn, where she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching German as a Foreign Language. Before joining the German Department at NUI Galway as a DAAD-Lektorin, Berit taught German language and contemporary culture at NUI Maynooth.

As a DAAD-Lektorin, Berit is the link to the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), which offers a variety of funding programmes for research and study in Germany. Please contact her for detailed information.
