New!  NUI Galway established the Researcher Development Centre in 2018, which will provide additional supports and continuing professional development opportunities for our research students.  

New! module ‘From Idea to Execution- Entrepreneurship Training Programme’aims to encourage collaboration and train you in innovation and entrepreneurship skills.

New!Library Guide on Research Data Management has been developed that provides information and training, for example; how to write a data management plan and how to find and cite data.

New!Research Data Management Policy has been approved.

New! The ‘Hub’ Student Common Room (www.hub.nuigstudents.ie)

The ‘Hub’ is in Aras na Mac Leinn and is available to all students, with a fully equipped kitchen and games which you can borrow. The kitchen is open from 9am - 8pm daily, Saturday noon - 6pm and Sunday 2pm -5pm.  It a great way to meet new people.

Graduate Studies continues to provide supports for all research students, see our website here

Colleges will continue to ensure;
- that all new research students know who is on their Graduate Research Committee (GRC)
- information on local research activities will be made available at Orientation and on College webpages / by email to research students.
