There are over 15,000 students currently registered at NUI Galway, with almost a quarter of these being postgraduate students, who are pursuing further studies. The University has academically strong programmes of teaching and research throughout its five Colleges: Arts, Social Sciences, & Celtic Studies; Business, Public Policy, & Law; Engineering & Informatics; Medicine, Nursing, & Health Sciences; and Science. The University is actively engaged in research in a diverse range of subjects and is recognised as a world leader in its particular areas of expertise.
NUI Galway offers intending students opportunities for further personal and academic development, as well as the skills and knowledge necessary to find employment in the modern marketplace.
