Aleisha Clarke qualified as a primary school teacher from St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, in 2003. She worked in a primary school in Dublin for three years. She completed a Masters in Education, in Trinity College, Dublin in 2007. Aleisha subsequently joined the Health Promotion Research Centre and has worked on several mental health research projects. In 2011 she completed her PhD in the promotion of positive mental health in primary schools in Ireland. Aleisha is currently working as a post-doctoral researcher on “Bridging the digital disconnect – using technology to support young people’s mental health needs”. This programme of research is being conducted in collaboration with Inspire Ireland and Inspire Australia. Aleisha is also involved in teaching with the Discipline of Health Promotion.
