Jane Sixsmith RGN, HV, BSc, MA., PhD is a Lecturer in Health Promotion at the Department of Health Promotion NUI, Galway since 2000. She previously completed twelve years professional registered nursing experience including community-based practice, which focused on aspects of community and public health. She holds a BSc from Kings College, London in Community Nursing and an MA and PhD in Health Promotion from NUI, Galway.
