The NUI Galway Health and Safety Office is charged with advising the Governing Authority, all levels of University Management, Staff and Students and other relevant parties on matters regarding Safety, Health and Welfare at Work.  In accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005 and associated legislation, it is our policy, in so far as is reasonably practicable, to ensure the health and safety of staff in their workplace and to provide advice and assistance on health and safety related matters.
