The Safety Management Strategic Plan 2006-2008, which has been approved by the University Management Team and Údarás na hOllscoile, is a landmark document containing the Safety Vision for NUI Galway.  It has been developed following extensive consultation with many sectors of the University community under the aegis of the University Safety Committee.  It is expected that this Plan will give further effect to the University’s legal obligations under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.
