PROFessor Nicholas Canny
Professor Nicholas Canny is the Director of the
Moore Institute, NUI, Galway, and President of the
Royal Irish Academy. He has retired from teaching.
His most recent book is
Making Ireland British
1580-1650
(2001)for which he was awarded the NUI Irish Historical Research Prize, 2003.
