This page is aimed at students following the Joint Honours BA, taking History and one other subject. If you are following the BA History (Single Honours) degree, click HERE.
Entry to the Final year is dependent upon a pass in Second Arts History or its equivalent in the case of visiting and exchange students. Students registered for the BA (International) must also have attained a satisfactory academic performance during their year abroad.
The Structure of Final Year is as follows: students must take four lecture modules (each worth 5 ECTS) and one seminar module (worth 10 ECTS) over the year. Thus, in one semester, they will take three lecture modules, and in the other semester, they will take one lecture and one seminar module. There are no compulsory lecture modules, but lecture module choices are restricted by the exam structure as below.
