Directions to the HRB Clinical Research Facility Galway

At present, the HRB Clinical Research Facility, Galway is accommodated on the first floor of Geata an Eolais, University Road, Galway.  This building is situated across the road from the University College Hospital, Galway.

From N6 via the Quincentennial Bridge

Arriving in Galway on the main N6 follow signs for the N59 (Galway-Oughterard/Clifden), crossing the River Corrib at the Quincentennial Bridge.  Immediately after the Quincentennial Bridge take a left turn at the traffic light controlled crossroads and follow the signs for City Centre/University/Hospital. Continue through 3 sets of traffic lights (approx. 1 km) to large junction with University Hospital on the right.  Continue through the lights and the CRFG is located in the first floor of the building which houses Tesco Express and Mr. Waffle.  As the building is security coded, please call 091 495 964 to gain access.

From Galway City Centre

Follow signs for the N59 (Galway-Oughterard/Clifden) crossing the River Corrib at Salmon Weir Bridge and keeping Galway Cathedral on your left.  From the Cathedral continue approx. 150 metres along University Road and the main entrance to NUI Galway is on the right.  Continue in the left hand lane, towards the traffic lights, and the CRFG is located in the first floor of the building which houses Tesco Express and Mr. Waffle.  As the building is security coded, please call 091 495 964 to gain access.
