Thesis: A Comparative Analysis of General Principles of Law in the ECCC and the ICTY; LL.B. Thesis: Floating Blood, the Moratorium on Inter-country Adoption from Cambodia.

Besides working on his Ph.D. dissertation at the Irish Centre for Human Rights, Djörn is the founder/chairman of the Dukkha Foundation and CEO of a cinema company. His Ph.D. Dissertation wil focus on general principles of law and the way they are safeguarded in the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia. His supervisor is Dr. Shane Darcy.
