In addition to its academic pursuits, the Centre is also involved in a number of research and advocacy projects designed to actively contribute to the promotion of human rights, both in and outside of Ireland . These endeavours vary widely in scope, from addressing legal issues of a domestic nature, those specific to transitional justice situations and the adoption of international human rights standards abroad.
