Elizabeth Tilley received her PhD in twentieth-century British fiction from the University of Toronto. She teaches courses on nineteenth-century British literature, writing by women, and book history. Her research interests include Gothic fiction and the history of disposable literature. She is currently writing a monograph on nineteenth-century Irish periodicals.
