introduction - Indoor Air Pollution and Health

Welcome to the website of the Indoor Air Pollution and Health (IAPAH) Project. IAPAH is a new project which will measure indoor air pollution in homes. The project will focus on homes which use solid fuels for heating or cooking or homes which have a resident smoker. The information collected in this project will be used to estimate how air pollution in homes affects our health.
IAPAH is a collaborative project between the National University of Ireland Galway, the University of Aberdeen and the Institute of Occupational Medicine in Scotland. This project is sponspored by the Irish Environmental Protection Agency and is expected to be completed by December 2010.
