Marking over 10 years since the establishment for the Irish Centre for Social Gerontology (ICSG) at NUI Galway, ICSG has launched an International Spring Seminar series. Running from April to June, it showcases international expertise and interdisciplinary perspectives on ageing and the life course. Speakers will engage with global societal challenges that impact on ageing societies, and will draw on conceptual and empirical debates to address scientific gaps in ageing research. Broad topics will include dynamic changes in environmental relationships for older people; extended working life polices; life-course patterns of participation and positive ageing; and implications of changing social contexts on social and health inequalities.
