This programme equips graduates with knowledge and skills in the fields of operations and innovation management that will enhance their technical and management contribution in various types of enterprises including manufacturing, financial services, health services, government and many others. The programme is suitable for engineering, science, commerce and arts graduates who wish to pursue careers in operations management.

The programme commences in September.
Candidates can choose from the following courses, many of which are clustered on particular days of the week. Courses are subject to availability and other courses may be made available.

Each subject is given credits of either 3 or 6 and candidates must complete a predefined number of credits over the duration of the programme. In addition candidates must prepare a Research Thesis on a topic to be agreed with an academic supervisor.
Projects based learning techniques are adopted on many courses where candidates have to complete a number of applied assignments throughout the year. While some courses are project based others require written examinations throughout the academic year.
The Masters of Applied Science programme is open to individuals who have second class honours degree in a Level 8 degree in any discipline from a recognised university or third level college. Candidates who hold a Level 8 degree without honours, and who have three years' relevant experience will also be considered.
This programme is long established and highly regarded by employers. There has always been a strong demand for graduates. Potential career titles include: Operations Manager; Entrepreneur, Product Manager, Training Manager, Product/process engineer, Quality Manager, Systems Analyst.
