Microsoft has confirmed this issue is resolved. ISS apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Current Issue with StudentMail

Users of the student email service are currently experiencing difficulty accessing the service.

The issue is general to all Microsoft hosted email services internationally (including Hotmail, Outlook.Com, Live.com etc). We anticipate that the issue will be resolved quickly.
