Downloading and Installing MalwareBytes Anti-Malware

1. Go to http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and click on Download, save the file to your desktop 
    
   
   Once the file is downloaded, click on mbam-setup.exe
   
   
   
2. At the Welcome Screen, click Next 
   
   
   
3. Select I accept the agreement and click Next
   
   
    
4. At the Information screen, click Next
   
   
   
5. Accept the default installation path for the software and click Next
   
   
    
6. Accept Shortcut and click Next
   
   
   
7. Select Create a desktop icon and click Next
   
   
   
8. To start the installation process, click Install
   
   
   
9. Once the installation has finished, allow the software to update if you have a working Internet connection. Do this by ensuring that the appropriate checkboxes (as shown below) are ticked.
    
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
10. Allow the software to update its detection files. If there is also a newer version of the software, click OK to let it update itself
    
    
11. On completion of update, click OK 
    
    
    
12. Perform a Quick Scan. If any rogue software or Malware is found, the software will prompt you for action
    
    
    
    
     
13. Be sure to click the Remove Selected button to ensure all malware is removed successfully
    
    
    
14. To complete, click OK
