How to disable Windows Firewall

It is recommended that you do NOT disable Windows Firewall unless so instructed by Information Solutions and Services staff.

1. Click Start, (then Settings) and then Control Panel
   
   
2. Double-click Windows Firewall
   (or click Security Center and then click Windows Firewall)
   
   
3. Select Off (not recommended) 
   
   
4. Click OK

Instructions to enable Windows Firewall

Note: Any changes to the Windows Firewall setting is reflected in all local profiles on the computer.
