Staff Computer Image for computer purchased under Procurement Contract

A computer purchased with a Windows Operating System through the procurement contract CON111  comes with pre-installed software; this is known as a standard image.  This image contains the most commonly used software in NUIG.  Versions of the software will vary based on the version available at the time the image was created.  Images are normally updated every four months.

Apple Macintosh
Apple Macintosh computers purchased from the two suppliers - Galmac and Screenway - come with Microsoft Office pre-installed. Purchasers may also choose to have Apple's Bootcamp facility (including an NUI Galway licensed copy of Microsoft Windows XP) pre-installed on their Mac at no additional charge. If you require Bootcamp, request this from the supplier at time of purchase.
