How do I import contacts stored on my computer in Outlook to the Exchange Server?

Before proceeding, you must already have configured Outlook 2003 for your Exchange email account. Instructions are available online

1. From the Outlook  File menu, choose Import and Export
   
   
2. The Import and Export Wizard appears. 
   
   
   Select Import from another program of File.  Click Next.
   
   
3. The Import a File dialog box appears. 
   
   
   Select Personal Folder File (.pst). Click Next.
   
   
4. The Import Personal Folders dialog box appears.  
   
   
   The required file is usually stored in the following location
   C:Documents and Settings Administrator Local Settings Application Data Microsoft Outlook (Note: View hidden files and folders will need to be enabled - instructions available online).
   
   The default option for duplicates is Replace duplicates with items imported.
   Click Next.
   
   
5. The following dialog box appears. 
   
   
   Tick the Include subfolders box.
   Ensure that the  Import items into the same folder in: option shows Mailbox -followed by your name (Page, Larry in the example shown above).
   
   
6. Click Finish.
