How to find out the processor on your Microsoft Windows computer

1. Press the Windows key and the Pause Break key together.
   

   Windows key Located at the bottom left corner of the keyboard	Pause Break key Located at the top right corner of the keyboard

2. The System Properties dialog box will appear.
   (similar to that shown below).

   

3. Look for the processor type and speed in the System Properties dialog box. In the example shown above, the processor type is Pentium 4 and the speed is 2.80GHz.
