How do I view a shared calendar?
If a colleague has granted you permission to their calendar, you will be able to view the shared calendar by following the steps below.
- In Outlook, on the Navigation Pane (left hand side of the screen), click
Calendar
- Click
Open a Shared Calendar (you may need to scroll down in the Navigation pane to see this link).
- Click the
Name button to choose the person’s name from the Global Address List.
- Click
OK
You will see the shared calendar beside your own calendar.
- In the Navigation Pane (left hand side of the screen), you will now see the person's name listed under
Other Calendars. You can choose to view the shared calendar by ticking the box beside their name.
- In Outlook, click
Calendar,
click
Open Calendar, then
Open Shared Calendar.
- Enter the person's name or click on
Name to access the Global Address List. . Click
OK when you are finished. Click
OK
- You will now see the person's name listed under
Other Calendars. You can choose to view the shared calendar by ticking the box beside their name.
