Does NUI, Galway have a site licence for Adobe Acrobat Professional software?

Yes. NUI Galway has an academic term site licence for Adobe Acrobat 11 Professional.  This software is a replacement product for PDF Converter Pro.  Please note that NUI Galway does not hold a site licence for any other Adobe software. More information about Adobe products and pricing

How can I get Adobe Acrobat Professional software for my computer?

• Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional is available in PC Suites – search online for relevant PC Suites 
  
  
• Students    
  Students can avail of educational pricing for Adobe software licences by contacting Micromail Ltd.  ( Alicemicromail.ie or  Diarmuidmicromail.ie).
  
  
• Staff
  Staff can download the Adobe Acrobat Pro 11 WIN from the Adobe web site.
  Adobe Pro 11 for MAC installation CD is available from the ISS Service Desk.
  Before installing, you must request the Adobe Licence code (WIN or MAC) from the ISS Service Desk, (ext. 5777, email servicedesknuigalway.ie).
  

  Note: Requests for the Adobe licence code will only be accepted from your NUI Galway  StaffMail account. You must provide your staff ID number and the version you are installing (WIN or MAC).

  To install software on your computer, you must login as an administrator

• Adobe Acrobat Pro
  1. Request the Adobe Licence code (Windows licence code) from the ISS Service Desk
  2. Go online to the Adobe Web site and create an Adobe Account (using your NUI Galway email address)
  3. Once you have logged into your new Adobe Account, click on Downloads
  4. Download Adobe Acrobat X Pro WIN  trial version
  5. Install Adobe Acrobat X Pro WIN using the licence code which was provided by the ISS Service Desk
  
  
• Adobe Acrobat Pro for MAC
  The installation disk with licence code is available from ISS Service Desk
  

Can I install Adobe Acrobat Professional software on my home computer?

Staff can download the Adobe Acrobat Pro WIN from the Adobe web site.
