What is Microsoft Office Language Interface Pack?

Microsoft Office Language Packs enable users to change the language for menus, toolbars, dialog boxes, and other user interface elements for all the Microsoft Office programs installed on the PC. It’s like having multiple versions of Office on your desktop—one in the initially installed language and one or more other languages, additionally installed through Language Packs.

Does NUI, Galway have a site licence for MS Office LIP Gaeilge software?

Microsoft Office Language Interface Pack - Gaeilge is available to download free from the Microsoft website. 

Note:  To install MS Office LIP Gaeilge you must have Microsoft Office already installed on your machine.  MS Office is covered by The Microsoft Campus Agreement.  This agreement only applies to staff of NUI, Galway and/or PCs located on campus with work-at-home rights for permanent staff of NUI, Galway. How can I get Microsoft Office LIP - Gaeilge software for my computer?

• Students 
  Students can download the Microsoft Office LIP - Gaeilge for free from the Microsoft website. 
  Note:  To install MS Office  LIP - Gaeilge you must have Microsoft Office already installed on your machine.  Students can download a 60 Day free trial Microsoft Office Home and Student
  
  
• Staff
  Staff can download Microsoft Office LIP - Gaeilge free from the  Microsoft website
  Note:  To install MS Office LIP - Gaeilge you must have Microsoft Office already installed on your machine. 
  Staff can borrow the MS Office installation CD from the Service Desk in Information Solutions and Services (ext. 5777, email servicedesknuigalway.ie).  If you borrow Microsoft Office software, you are obliged to sign a Licence Agreement form.
