NoMachine NX is an enterprise-class solution for secure remote access, desktop virtualisation and hosted desktop deployment. NX makes it possible to run any graphical application on any operating system across any network connection.
Using the NoMachine Desktop Virtualization client (NX Client) at NUI, Galway provides authenticated users with access to a Linux environment (
LEAS) from any computer connected to the wired campus network.

NX Client is available free to download. NUI Galway has a license for NX Advanced Server which is managed by Information Solutions and Services; this service is known as LEAS (Linux Environment for Academic Studies).
NX Client is available in PC Suites – search online for relevant PC Suites.
