How do I renew the SPSS license code?

SPSS for Windows

1. Log onto the computer with Administrator rights
   
   
2. From the Start menu, choose Programs > SPSS for Windows > SPSS License Authorization Wizard
   
   
3. License Status window will open, click Next
   
   
4. Select Licence my product now and click Next
   
   
5. Enter the license code when prompted.
   
   
6. You should get a message informing you the code has been successfully applied.
   
   
7. Click Next and Finish to exit
   

SPSS licence on Macintosh OSX

The SPSS License Renewal Utility is required to apply the new license code.

1. Install the SPSS License Renewal Utility  - Download from ftp://ftp.spss.com/pub/spss/mac
   You will need StuffIt Expander or some similar utility to decompress the file.

2. Login to Mac OSX with the same username that you used when you installed SPSS.

3. To apply your new license code, run the SPSS License Renewal Utility and enter the license code when prompted.
