How do I get a computer account?

Human Resource will provide you with a staff number. Please activate your Campus account

For authorised persons not on the NUI Galway payroll or staff-sponsored visitors to NUI Galway, temporary access to computer resources is available.

How do I login to a computer in the University? 

Once you have activated your Campus account, use this ID number and password to log on to the network

Press  Ctrl  Alt  Del to get to the login screen.  (Press the Ctrl key, the Alt key and the Delete key at the same time.) 
All Windows based computers attached to the Campus Network must authenticate to UDS (see image below). 
Enter your uds\Username and Password.  Click  OK to login.
