A Web support service is applied to the use and management of officially branded NUI Galway Web sites that are hosted on the University’s Web site hosting service. Support covers the creation and management of Web content using the University’s Content Management System (CMS).
The support service is only available to University Web site administrators who use the official Web publishing template and CMS.
The Web site must be authorised by the Head of Unit. The Head of Unit must also assign a Web Administrator for the Web site. Verify if there is a need for a new Web site or if the content can be added to existing department’s Web site.
Web training is provided by Web Services via the Staff Training and Development Office and is divided into three courses. Assistance is also available in the form of online help with CMS guides available in video and text formats.
