Mobile Learn is primarily designed for viewing content, not for uploading new content to Blackboard. Depending on the particular device, some features will not work correctly, but you can always access these features using a browser such as Firefox or Internet Explorer on your computer.
Students should not attempt to take tests, quizzes or surveys, submit assignments or participate in Chat in Mobile Learn; instead, they should use a non-mobile Web browser for those purposes.
Staff should not attempt to upload new course content, build tests, quizzes or surveys, grade assignments or adjust Grade Center options in Mobile Learn; instead, they should use a non-mobile Web browser for those purposes.

Blackboard Mobile Learn is free to all staff and students for all devices on the NUI Galway Wi-Fi network. The charge for access using broadband or 3G will be dependent on the mobile operator you are with, and the mobile plan you are subscribed to (standard data rates apply).
No. The Mobile Learn app has replaced the Blackboard Learn app as Blackboard’s mobile solution. The original Blackboard Learn app discontinued working for existing users on December 31, 2010.
