Staff leaving NUI Galway

A staff member leaving NUI Galway is no longer entitled to use their Campus Account Login. If you are leaving NUI Galway, your Campus Account will become disabled (i.e access will no longer be permitted)120 days after the end date of your contract. Enterprise Application Accounts (Financial System Agresso, Student Records Quercus) will be disabled within 30 days of the end date of the contract.

All staff members are notified by an automated email to say that their Campus Account will expire in 120 days. Once you receive this email we recommend you complete the following:

Before You Leave NUI Galway

  1. Notify email correspondents of your @nuigalway.ie email address that it will soon be inactive. It may be a good idea to provide them with an alternative email address where they may contact you 

  2. Set an Out of Office on your email account to say you no longer work at NUI Galway and provide alternate contact details. See the Microsoft website here on how to set up an Out of Office / Automatic Replies on your mailbox
Staff Retiring From NUI Galway

Your account will not be expired and access to your email account will remain. We do  however recommend that you set an Out of Office  message on your NUI Galway email account as soon as possible.  Your Enterprise Application Accounts (Financial System Agresso, Student Records Quercus) will be disabled within 30 days of your retirement date.

Once retired your email address will be added to the Retired Staff Dynamic Distribution List and be kept up to date on all emails sent to this Distribution Group, helping you keep informed with ongoing activities from the Retired Staff Association.
