Does the University of Galway have a site licence for Autodesk software?

No. University of Galway currently has a limited number of licences distributed by a network license server. Licenses are for use in the PC Suites.

Known Issues

Students can only download the most recently released Autodesk product (student version) from the Autodesk student website. The following Autodesk products are not backward compatible - Revit series (Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP), Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Civil 3D - which means that newer file versions for these products cannot be opened in the PC Suites where an older Autodesk product version is installed.

Please Note

All licensed software is permitted for use only while the user is a registered student of University of Galway or a current member of staff
