Student Records (Quercus)


Student Records (Quercus) is the student records system used in NUI Galway by administrative staff to enter and record student data.

How do I request a Student Records (Quercus) account?

  1. To access Student Records (Quercus), authorisation is required from the Academic Records Office 
    For the required authorisation, please email Tara.Leydonnuigalway.ie Academic Records and Registration Officer (or her deputy), requesting access.
  2. Once authorisation is received, log a ticket in Service Desk Ticketing System  (including your staff ID) and a copy of the authorisation email within the ticket.
  3. ISS will then provide you with your new Student Records (Quercus) login credentials.

 

How do I logon?

How do I change my password?

Student Records (Quercus) passwords expire every 60 days.  After this period you can reset your password by following the steps below;

  1. Go to Student Records (Quercus
  2. At login you will be asked to enter your Old Password (current password), choose a New Password and verify. Note: passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters (alpha + numeric).Quercus password change screen
  3. Click OK and proceed to access Student Records (Quercus) 
  4. If you are unable to remember your password please log a ticket in Service Desk Ticketing System

 

How do I request access to roles/modules?

Authorisation is required from the Academic Records Office, when requesting access to additional roles/modules. Your Head of School or supervisor should email Tara.Leydonnuigalway.ie Academic Records and Registration Officer (or her deputy), requesting access.
