Final Year Students win Entrepreneurship Award..again
The students won a 2000 Euro College Award at the Enterprise Ireland/Invest Northern Ireland/Ulster Bank Student Awards. The award was presented by Liam Aylward TD, Minister of State at the Dept. of Agriculture and Food, at a ceremony in Carlow on Apr. 20th 2004.
The students developed a business plan along with a range of software to enable home automation from mobile phones or through the Internet. Their business plan was developed as part of an Entrepreneurship Module for their Professional Skills studies.
The four students were Brian Fahey, Finn Hegarty, Michael Dowd and Fergal Duane.

Their college lecturer was Hugh Melvin.
