Final Year Students win National Award
The group Kevin Winters, Gary Casey, Conor Kilillea, David Spollen and Dwayne Noone developed a Business Plan for their product GlucoseAid Bioreader. It is a wrist device that uses Infrared
light and a neural network engine to process sugar levels for diabetics.
Enterprise Ireland outlined that there was a very large increase in both numbers and quality of applicants this year with around 200 entries from almost 30 University /IT throughout the country. Our students won a
Merit Award of 2000 Euro.
The prize giving was in Cork IT on 15th April and was attended by the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Micheal Martin.
