Final Year Students win award in Belfast
Students Liam Connolly, Linda Connolly, Robert Loughlin, Siobhan Dervan & Cathal McCosker developed a Business Plan for their product InterNote, an interactive educational software program for children that aims to develop music literacy skills in a fun and engaging environment. Cathal and Siobhan developed the software as part of their Final Year Project. InterNote is interest driven where the child chooses the topic they wish to learn about. Designed to supplement the current music curriculum in Irish primary schools, each separate section contains interactive tutorials and games covering all the prescribed topics in musical notation and theory. The software incorporates a virtual tutor throughout the program to guide the child and give help as required. The Final Year Project supervisor was Ms. Karen Young.
