NUI, Galway IT Students Top awards

A group of 4th year students who have just completed their BSc in Information Technology in the Department of IT, has once again won a merit award of (€2000) at the National Entrepreneurship awards.
This is now an all-Ireland competition and the award puts them in the top 10 in the country. The group are Gerard Cahill, Alan Cunningham, Patrick Hogan and Niall O Grady.
Their Business Plan idea was a MMOG (Massively Multiplayer Online Game) for the new Nintendo Wii game console. They had previously won the best Business Plan Award for 4th yr BScIT sponsored by the Department. They will receive their award at the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, Kildare Street, Dublin 2 on Wed Jun 6th. Slán
