Internal Communications
Keeping our campus community in the loop
Internal Communications is responsible for keeping our campus community informed of University news, staff and student successes, campus events and changes to practices and policies in the University.
- One key aspect of the function is the development of effective communication channels within the University, to ensure that staff receive timely information about major institutional developments, changes to work practices and achievements of colleagues.
- Key areas of work include the production of the staff newsletter Ollscéala, weekly news and events email An Dialann, the FYI (First Year In) student ezine, the maintenance of the University screen network, the approval and distribution of all-staff emails, and the management of other online resources for staff.
- Internal Communications also provides support to departments and colleagues on specific internal communication campaigns and messages.
