The International Office at NUI Galway looks forward to welcoming you to the new academic year.
As we all aware, COVID-19 has had, and continues to have, a huge impact on all of our lives as we continue to adapt to our new, shared reality. Our number one priority is your safety and wellbeing, so we are navigating a new landscape, where you can enjoy a campus experience blended with online engagement.
As the public health guidance is evolving, we will be monitoring these changes to develop our plans and put in place rigorous, effective and practical measures to ensure your health and safety while on campus. NUI Galway is looking forward to welcoming you for Orientation and those of you who are returning to our university for another year of advancement and enrichment. Galway - A Cultural Powerhouse
Galway is a place like no other. Galway is a cultural hub. The city and county are renowned for our rich cultural heritage, our unique Gaeltacht traditions, our colourful festivals, and the generations of writers, actors, musicians and producers that have called Galway home.
Set on the Wild Atlantic Way, on the broad sweep of Galway Bay, Galway is as distinctive as it is beautiful. We are renowned as a place where arts and culture are celebrated, reinterpreted and shared with the world.
