Fees are listed separately for each course. Included are tuition costs, educational tours, theatre visits and a social programme.
Payment should be made by International Bankers Draft or Money Order (drawn on a Bank) or by Electronic Funds Transfer (Bank details supplied on request)
Students may live in family owned guesthouses adjacent to the University. A full Irish breakfast will be provided by their hosts as part of the overall cost. Accommodation costs are listed separately for each programme. A supplementary charge of €150 will apply for single room accommodation.
Students may choose to stay at residences available to the University. Accommodation charges are listed separately for each programme.
Breakfast and luncheon will be available in the Campus Restaurants, or may be obtained in any of Galway’s hotels, restaurants or bistros. Dinner or high tea may also be obtained locally. Details of the cost of living in Ireland will be supplied on request.
The Balance of tuition/fees and accommodation payments must be finalised by May 31, 2012.
Credits are offered at graduate and undergraduate levels. Assessment will be based on attendance and completion of appropriate written assignments or examinations as prescribed by each Course Director. Special graduate level assignments are arranged for students requiring graduate credits. Courses may be attended also on a non-credit basis.
Applicants should complete the enrolment form online at www.nuigalway.ie/iss/apply with the appropriate booking deposit(s) which is non-refundable after the enrolment deadline.
Tours for each programme will be selected, inclusive in the cost, from the following: Aran Islands; Donegal, Derry, and Giant's Causeway; the Dingle Peninsula, Co. Kerry; Clonmacnoise, Newgrange, the Boyne Valley; Yeats’s sites in Sligo and South Galway. There will be visits also to An Taibhdhearc, Galway’s Gaelic Theatre or Druid Theatre.
