In addition to its academic pursuits, the Centre is also involved in a number of research and advocacy projects designed to actively contribute to the promotion of human rights, both in and outside of Ireland. These endeavours vary widely in scope, from addressing legal issues of a domestic nature, those specific to transitional justice situations and the adoption of international human rights standards abroad.

In addition, the Centre has a large number of completed projects.
