Dr Incalcaterra McLoughlin is part of a EU consortium awarded a total grant of €399,433 under the EU Lifelong Learning Programme (EACEA: Education Audiovisual & Culture Executive Agency) for a project entitled
ClipFlair Foreign Language Learning through Interactive Revoicing and Captioning of Clips (project to run for 30 months from December 2011).

Dr Incalcaterra McLoughlin was the principal researcher for a collaborative project funded by the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences entitled Pedagogical implications of analysis and production of subtitles for advanced foreign language learners (2008-2010).
