Before deciding to pursue a Masters degree, I was teaching Software Engineering for a small, private college. That college closed shortly after I started the MScSED programme, but I decided to stick with it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the MScSED course, and it has opened up new career opportunities for me.

Right now I am running a programme at NUI Galway for the Digitally Excluded and I'm participating in online facilitator training so that I can become a facilitator on the MScSED programme. I'm also writing two papers - one based on my MScSED thesis and one on digital exclusion based on my work in the NUI Galway programme. I'm considering doing a PhD, but not sure yet!

In the future, I see myself continuing in academia, tutoring and/or lecturing.
