Applications :: Application vetting process

You will receive acknowledgement of your application from the Postgraduate Application Centre (PAC) via email.

The NUI Galway selection committee for the MSc in Software Engineering and Database Technologies will evaluate your application; successful applicants will be informed by email by the PAC Office. The selection process takes place on a rolling basis (every 4-5 weeks from mid-March to end of July each academic year).

Only students who have submitted all required documentation will be considered for a place on the programme. If transcripts are not submitted, your application will not be reviewed by the selection committee.

Once offered a place on the programme you must pay a non-refundable deposit of €500 within 7 working days (bank draft or money/postal order only*, made payable to the National University of Ireland, Galway; cheques not accepted). Sterling or U.S. dollar drafts (equivalent to €500) are also acceptable.
