
Michael Ashley Stein is a Professor at William & Mary School
of Law (Virginia, U.S.A. ). He serves on the advisory boards of
several disability organizations, and is currently participating
in a number of international projects relating to the rights of
disabled persons. Michael received a J.D. from Harvard Law School
, and a Ph.D. from Cambridge University. His articles have been
published in leading law journals, and his research has been supported
by several prestigious awards, including an American Council of
Learned Societies Andrew W. Mellon Faculty Fellowship and a National
Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research Merit Fellowship.
He is currently spending time as a Visiting Scholar at Harvard
Law School, with additional fellowships in Harvard's Human Rights
and the East Asian Legal Studies Programmes.
