Course Fees
The fee for the Disability Discrimination Summer School 2006 is €600
for a two week teaching programme (Tuesday 6th - Friday 9th
and Monday 12th - Friday 16th June 2006, from 09:00-17:00).
Please note that Monday 5th June 2006 is a public holiday in Ireland.
The course fee covers the cost of teaching, teaching materials,
lunch and refreshments during teaching hours. Accommodation is
not covered by the course fee (please see accommodation section
of the website).
Participant places are limited, and will be reserved
on a first come, first served basis.
The course fee must be paid
in euro (€). Any bank charges
must be covered by the participant in addition to their course
fee (i.e. the amount sent to the Disability Summer School must
not be less than €600). Course fee payment can be made by
either:
- Euro (€) bank draft, purchased from a bank, and made
payable to NUIG, DSS. If you can only pay by company cheque,
the cheque must be in euro and should be made out for €610
to cover bank charges. Personal cheques will
not be accepted.
- Electronic bank transfer, please note the following
information:
- The amount sent to the Summer School must be €600
exactly and no less.

- Please state your name in full when sending
your transfer and fax the purchase order form from the
bank to the Summer School (+ 353 (0)91 495569) and then send
a copy with your booking form by post.
Please email the organisers at disability@eusummerschool.info once
you have sent your course fee and booking form, so that we can
expect your booking.

Scholarship Details
A course fee waiver concession will be available for a
limited number of applicants (this may be a part or full course
fee waiver and is at the discretion of the Summer School).
In order to equalise the spread of knowledge and skills, priority
will be given to lawyers and legal advisers to disability non-governmental
organisations (NGOs) from the newer Member States of the European
Union.
Scholarship applicants should highlight their interest by forwarding
an email, subject heading ''Scholarship Application", to disability@eusummerschool.info by
5th May 2006, briefly indicating their role in designing test
case strategies and advising on the same.
Please note that scholarship applicants are still required to
reserve their place at the Summer School by completing and returning
the booking form any by paying the €600 course fee. If a scholarship
is awarded, the course fee will be refunded in part or full, according
to the value of the scholarship. |
