Anna Louise Hinds is a graduate of N.U.I., Galway and the
College of Europe, Bruges, where she obtained a masters degree in
European Law, specialising in EC Antitrust and Anti-Dumping Procedures.
Upon completion of her masters degree, she took up a position in
the Dublin Institute of Technology, where she taught Constitutional
and Tort law. She commenced her position as Junior Lecturer in Commercial
Law in N.U.I. Galway in September 2001 and is currently teaching
EC Law, Comparative Competition Law and International Trade Law.
She is also an Associate Member of the Law School in the Law Society
of Ireland.
CURRENT RESEARCH PROJECTS
- Current areas of research include collective dominance in EC
Competition Law and US Antitrust Law, the implementation of Community
law in the Member States and the duty to assist a person in danger
in French criminal law. She is currently undertaking a textbook
on EC competition law.
